One of Toronto’s finest Japanese restaurants, kaiseki-SAKURA does more than offer an exquisite dinner menu in a cozy environment; it invites guests to relax and enjoy a unique and remarkable dining experience in the Japanese culinary tradition. Here, kaiseki-style cuisine is served as a multi-course meal. Accordingly, the restaurant’s most popular selection is the Omakase Tasting Course: a medley of beautifully prepared appetizers, mains and dessert dishes that are all hand-selected by chef extraordinaire Daisuke Izutsu. Dinner can also be ordered à la carte, should patrons wish to enjoy a select number of dishes. kaiseki-SAKURA not only boasts an artful dinner menu that will literally have every one of your senses on overload, but the very same care and quality that comes out from the kitchen is evident in their drink menu as well. Wine, beer, spirits and cocktails are only the beginning. The selection of fine Japanese sake is extensive, as is the list of SAKURA originals—cocktail specialties that superbly compliment anything on the menu. So whether the evening’s itinerary includes a distinctive beverage or an entire meal, you will fall in love with the modern twist on traditional Japanese fine dining found at kaiseki-SAKURA.
